Due to the major works taking place on the estate we advise all residents to be extra vigilant. Bogus callers (also known as distraction burglars) will try to trick their way into people’s homes to steal money and valuables while the householder’s attention is elsewhere.
Most callers are genuine and mean you no harm, but bogus callers can often seem very plausible and will try to fool you.
We urge all residents to keep yourself safe and secure your door.
If you are ever unsure, do not allow the caller in and call the Housing office to verify their credentials.
